Assignment: Midterm Connection and Reflection

Midterm is a good time to catch up on longer readings, viewings, or other resources.
It’s also a good place to take stock and look back at your journal notes, reading notes, and so on. Try for about 3-5 pages of writing. This does not have to be polished or perfect—it’s a longer place of reflection and contemplation.

Here are a few places to jump off. You don’t need to answer all of the questions.

What’s working about the class structure so far, and what do we need to shift for the second half of the summer?
What patterns are you noticing?
What concepts keep resurfacing?
What questions keep resurfacing?
Where do you think you’ve been, or how far have you traveled?
Where do you think you’re headed next, and why?
What kind of creative final project do you envision for the end of the class?
